This organization does incredible work keeping families in their homes and avoiding eviction along with many other services including a food bank. The King County 211 Crisis Hotline sends St. Vincent de Paul more calls for help than any other nonprofit organization in King County. And 90 Cents of every donated dollar goes directly to programs.
I am so grateful to be part of this great organization which helps so many of our neighbors in need in King County every day. I had no idea SVdP was more than just a thrift store. Donations and purchases help people in King County through SVdP's Case Management, Food Bank, Home Visits, Help Line, and other vital social services.
St. Vincent de Paul Seattle/King County is an extremely compassionate and highly efficient non-profit. Our services include a food bank which operates twice weekly at our Seattle Georgetown location, case management and a helpline. Every time you buy something at one of our 5 area thrift stores, you are supporting these programs since 90 cents of every dollar spent at our stores goes to supporting services.
The 2016 Seattle A-List awards are based on more than 34,000 votes from local Seattle-area experts.
