Tips from Voters

  • From puppy daycamp to private sessions for reactive dogs, Ahimsa has you covered. When I go to training, I am the one being trained on how to listen to my dog, and how to be my dogs best friend. My dogs love Ahimsa! I love knowing I am getting the skillset that will make the most rewarding relationship I can have with my fur babies! We love Wynona trainer-new owner. She is the best and has a staff of trainers that match her standard of excellence.

  • Extremely well informed staff. Completely transformed our wild puppy into a well rounded and well socialized dog. Especially the incorporation of play time into their puppy classes and teen play was essential for socializing.

  • A professional dog training school for your family. My akita puppy LOVED going here - and she's developing into a happy, well-trained dog. Highly recommend Ahimsa for your pup.

  • How much do I love Ahimsa and, in particular, puppy day camp? Let me count the ways! First, the trainers at Ahimsa are wonderful people. Caring, knowledgeable, funny… everything you want in a teacher for your dog, and (in my case), for your dog’s owner! I have asked what I thought were dumb questions and am always treated with respect and given thoughtful answers. We did the puppy kindergarten several times a week, which was awesome for humans and canines alike. But, really, what brought me to write this review is puppy day camp. Yes, it seems expensive, and I was hesitant to pay that much for what I thought was essentially a half day of puppy daycare. But no! It’s so much more. Every day they worked with my pup on skills and do’s and don’ts – but always with compassion and positive reinforcement. We have a toddler at home and it made a HUGE difference after even only one day with less biting and rough playing. After a week of camp our house was happier: a tired and well-behaved pup. I even asked for another week of camp for my birthday! We have two more weeks of camp booked before he turns five months and we will continue weekly kindergarten, and probably beyond. We just love Wynona, Amber, Frank, and Clara (and everyone else there). Thank you!
